One click and you’re in: voice channels and video calls with screen sharing are built right in - no separate tool, no extra subscription. Perfect for a spontaneous call with the group or gaming together on the side.

Servers and channels, text and voice chat, file sharing and markdown formatting - the full toolkit for a thriving community. Whether you’re chatting with a handful of friends or running a community with thousands of members, Cloudchat scales with you - without charging extra for things other platforms hide behind subscriptions. Custom emojis, animated avatars and a profile banner are simply included.

Clear rules, strong moderation

A fine-grained, role-based permission system and powerful moderation bots give you full control over your community. The public API lets you build your own bots and integrations - Cloudchat is as open as you need it to be.

Your data stays your data

Cloudchat is built on Stoat, an open-source chat platform, which we’ve further hardened and refined for usability and security for our hosting. Everything runs entirely on our own infrastructure in Germany - no external servers, no data sold to third parties. Your conversations, your rules.

Fairly priced: The base price already includes 32 slots. As your community grows, add more seats for just €0.10 per slot per month - up to 250 users in total.
